  I took a huge leap of faith going to this salon - I was new to the area and had no one to receommend a new place or person to do my hair, so I had to choose something blind, a place I had never heard about or been to. I searched for Aveda salons, hoping that would be a safe choice. It was... the minute I walked in the door my nerves were settled. I went in to completely change my hair color and Tracy, the owner, did an amazing job. I have never gotten so many compliments on my cut or color. To top it off, I had my eye brows done and again - never so many compliments. They look fantastic. I lived in L.A./Bev Hills area for 8 years and this is by far my favorite salon I have ever been to. The atmosphere, the staff, the experience & talent... I would recommend it to anyone. Pros: Family Owned, Great Neighborhood, Convenient Parking, Friendly, Excellent Products, Lots of talent!

  I recently took a trip to Laguna Beach, CA for my boyfriend's art opening and was in desperate need of a hair cut as well as a style for the big opening night! I found Salon DeNour on this website and decided to give it a shot. I had a wonderful experience. The girl that cut my hair (Dana) was a doll (and so was the girl that washed my hair) I felt like I was spending time with good friends. They were so personable and nice. My hair cut was great and the style she gave me - we decided to call the "Sienna Miller" (a braid in the front of my head that wrapped around to the back with a 1/2 up-do - hard to explain but like Sienna has been wearing lately in all the mags). I got so many compliments that night at the opening, and my boyriend loved it, I hated to have to take it out at the end of the day! The salon itself was neat, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The owner greeted me when I walked in and won me over immediately with his kindness as well as his fab accent! Another plus was the 20% off coupon I found on this site! Bonus!! The location of the salon is perfect, right downtown on the main st. in a nice Spanish looking plaza amidst fabulous shopping, so go early so you can shop or make some time for after your appt. Tons of good stores! :) (Muse, White House/Black Mkt. are right there and they are great!) I highly reccommend Salon DeNour, I had a wonderful experience and would go back again.   We had a family wedding in Laguna Beach this past weekend and we were all traveling in from out of town. We thought it would be fun to get our hair and make up done as a group - there were five of us and we all wanted different things, of course. I found the salon online and I am so glad I did! The entire experience from start to finish was so fantastic. I thought there might be some attitude because of the Laguna Beach surroundings - but every person we worked with was great. Paul was very flexible with our schedule changes and on the day of, each of the stylists took as much time as they needed to ensure we all were happy with the results. We all left the salon thrilled with our decision to put ourselves in the hands of Paul and his team. And while we were being pampered, it was great to be able to enjoy champagne, wine and lunch next door from the wonderful Sun Dried Tomato! If I lived in the Laguna Beach area, this would be my "go-to" salon without a doubt! Pros: Great stylists, Excellent customer service, flexible, very friendly
