VISITOR052Recently my boyfriend and I had dinner at the Bistro located right on the premises of the Netherlands Inn and Spa. I booked the reservation directly through the hotel because it was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. The staff could not have been nicer. The young woman that was the hostess that night saved us a beautiful table over the by the window overlooking the beautiful Amish Country. Both meals were delicious. Our waitress was also very efficient and friendly. We especially liked the quiet atmosphere. We both don't have kids so that is what we liked the most about the place. There was one child behind us but the parents must take him to places like this often, because he was very well behaved. I think if you are looking for hot dogs and hamburgers, there are plenty of places in Lancaster that serve those kind of meals (McDonalds). I did not stay in the hotel but we would like to go back and give it a try. Thanks for such a nice memorable evening!

gonefishing85This is a terrific place to stay right outside Lancaster. We went for the tours of the farms, amish, etc.. The hotel is very quaint and very affordable. It has a lot of property to walk around, pool, and an attached resturant/bar called Fireside Tavern. The resturant/bar was great as well. Very affordable and a place to hang out after a day of touring. Definitely would stay again. Liked — cost and location to tourist locations plus next to a quaint rest/bar Disliked — nothing really

AngieBronxMy husband and I stayed here last month for a couples retreat given by our church. The room was neat and clean and nice size. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The food they served was excellent. The grounds were beutiful, even though we didn't get to walk around as much as we wouild have liked due to the cold weather, but we did enjoy what we could. It's in the Lancaster area so we were able to visit some Amish shops . Lot's of great restaurants in the area as well. And there is also Sight and Sound theater in the area. I would definitely recommend it and am hoping our group comes here again next year.
